Roehr Motorcycles have announced its 2008 production sportbike model, the HD V-Rod. The sportbike is powered by Harley-Davidson’s Revolution engine. It features a race track inspired chassis design sure to meet your speedy bike standards. The V-Roehr is also equipped with the finest chassis components available.

According to Walter Roehrich, the company founder and designer of the super sportbike, the V-Roehr is one fine handling beast that’s capable of pushing through its limits. The new superbike is supposedly to be the fastest, most powerful road machine ever by using the best engine. Hands down to Harley-Davidson for fitting a master engine piece in its powertrain. The engine is wrapped in a composite CrMo steel and aluminum composite beam frame

The Harley-Davidson Revolution engine was chosen because of its state-of-the-art design, sustainable structure and superior power which deliver high output potentials of the bike. The design utilizes two materials (large diameter, internally ribbed steel main beams, bonded and bolted to billet machined aluminum swingarm pivot plates) in areas of the frame in which their material personalities are best appropriate, acquiescing a stiff and rigid, yet lightweight construction that serves excellent feedback and road handling.

Also several features have been fitted in this superbike which comprises of: side mounted radiators (which allow a forward engine position for a suitable wheelbase and weight distribution), Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels, wet, multi-plate, hydraulic actuation clutch parts and impressive bodywork in aerospace quality carbon-fiber.
