The world championship circuit of Misano, Italy, the Ducati “Red Planet” prepares itself for the World Ducati Week 2007. In this event, the MotoGP (that’s a Ducati factory) and Superbike riders are scheduled to make appearances throughout the program which also includes the fourth round of Ducati’s one-make race series, the Ducati Desmo Challenge.

The Italian motorcycle manufacturer Borgo Panigale factory gears ahead for the WDW fifth edition which will be held from June 28th to July 1st at the world championship circuit of Misano. The factory has already received thousands of requests for details on the latest edition of the now-familiar Ducati event much to the delight of you motorcycle fans and enthusiasts. Note that the 2004 WDW has attracted several people over 45,000 overall attendees and guests. This year’s event is expected to zoom in on motorcyclists by the thousands.

Of course, fans of Ducati Corse riders will have a chance in meeting superbiker celebs, Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi (from the Ducati Xerox Team Superbike). They will be at the circuit while the Ducati Moto GP Team of Loris Capirossi and Casey Stoner will fly into Misano immediately in order to spend some time with their fans.

There’s a flurry of activities organized to run through the weekend including: track sessions, riding courses with pros, test riding opportunities of the new released Ducatis and the Ducati University seminars held by Ducati top managers and engineers. A series of shows are also offered with exhibitions including stuntmen, mini-motard bikes, the “Best Custom Ducati” award ceremony, fashion shows, gala events and so much more will await guests and fans alike.

The WDW is not only for Ducati owners and fans. Absolutely everyone is invited to join in this three-day motorcycle celebration. So saddle up and bolt your biking brakes to catch up on this innovative, unique event.
